No one was reported injured when a boat exploded on Sheridan Lake Sunday.
The Pennington County Sheriff's Office said its boat patrol was dispatched around noon. When it arrived on scene, the boat was fully engulfed in flames.

The sheriff's office said with the assistance of Hill City Volunteer Fire Department, Pennington County deputies were able to tow the boat closer to shore so the fire could be extinguished.
There were no injuries reported, but the boat was a total loss, the sheriff's office said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Responding agencies included the Pennington County Sheriffās Office, South °®¶¹app Game, Fish & Parks, Hill City Volunteer Fire Department, Pennington County Dispatch and the Rapid City Fire Department Hazmat Team.
