A group of five Rapid City friends had the popular swimming spot on Battle Creek locally known as Hippie Hole to themselves for a few hours during the warm Tuesday afternoon. The cool waters of the creek helped with a high temperature that reached nearly 80 degrees Tuesday. On Wednesday, temperatures are expected to cool with a high of 67 and a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms. Thursday is also expected to bring a high of 67, according to the National Weather Service.혻
