GOP'ers find themselves stuck in a Trump rut. I'm sure they hope his policies will work out in the end but common sense must be taking a back seat to fuzzy logic when they believe his edicts knowing he constantly lies when he needs to and doesn't care who knows it.
Al-Anon suggests that loyalty to an alcoholic can never cure him. The best way to handle an alcoholic is to isolate him and not engage him or believe he will stop on his own while in the throes of addiction. The only fix is to quarantine the problem by never joining him and stop hoping he will find the ability to fix his problems on his own.
This leopard can't change his spots by doing the very thing that gives him spots in the first place. So please start seeing this "lie-a-holic's" reality before a worse reality sets in.
It is becoming clearer everyday that Trump (shock-jock that he is) doesn't want to fix democracy's shortcomings but destroy it altogether. His loyalties can't reside with us. He certainly is enacting an agenda that doesn't hold our best interest and ultimately his either. His misguided faith is to his heroes the autocrats and the chief one, Putin, who has helped him all along his way.
If not stopped, our ever improving "more perfect union" will cease while a likely "hell on earth" atomic war happens as these egotists turn on each other. This would not be a 3/2 bar fight.
